Occupational Health Services

Occupational health is a specialized area of health care to meet the health and safety needs of the workplace.  St. Joseph Health System, located in Tawas City, Michigan, provides occupational health services to our employees and the communities we serve.

Our occupational health staff takes a team approach to help businesses meet regulatory requirements.  We provide education, prevention programs and treatment of workplace injuries/illnesses.  Our mission is to be the leader in providing high-quality, cost-effective occupational health services to the communities served. 

Occupational Health Services (OHS) of St. Joseph Health System, has been providing workplace health and safety related services for the past 5 years. 

Our occupational health professionals include:

• Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant
• Registered Nurses 
• Licensed Practical Nurses
• Coordinator 
• Other support staff specific to program requirements

Occupational Health Services is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. excluding holidays with after hour injury care directed to the St. Joseph Health System Emergency Department.  An Occupational Health Services staff member is available after hours by beeper to assist with specific customer needs related to drug and alcohol screening services.
