Injury Treatment & Follow-Up Care

Occupational Health Services offers a full-service occupational medicine program that maximizes the employee's recovery while reducing employers' lost work days and medical costs.

INJURY TREATMENT SERVICES

• Treatment of work related injuries including strains, sprains, fractures, eye injuries, lacerations, contusions, abrasions, X-rays, sutures, eye care and splinting.
• Follow-up care.
• Defined physical abilities.
• Case management services.
• Specialty referrals as needed.
• Return-to-work facilitation.
• Open Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm with the exception of holidays.
• After-hours care coordinated with the emergency room at Tawas St. Joseph Hospital.

HOW DO WE COMMUNICATE WITH YOU?

• We establish a customer profile with specific company needs.
• We ask that the employee brings a customer authorization form to the clinic visit.
• We provide written status reports to the employee after each visit for changes of work status and follow-up appointment as necessary.
• We provide telephone updates with employee restrictions as needed.
• We're available for telephone consultations with staff as needed.
• We work closely with physical and occupational therapy clinics to enhance the patient's recovery process.
• We promote employee's early functional recovery, utilizing an effective treatment plan.
• If case management is needed, we provide routine updates to the WCC employee.
• We provide face-to-face, on-site visits and accompany employees to doctor visits as needed.
• We communicate with the provider regarding treatment.
• We facilitate the return to work with the provider.
