POST-ACCIDENT TESTING
Occupational Health Services, of St. Joseph Health System provides drug and alcohol testing services, which assists businesses and municipalities in their efforts to comply with regulatory requirements and company drug and alcohol policies.
Occupational Health Services follows the Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines for the "chain of custody" collections, custody and control forms, handling samples, along with the confidentiality of reporting results.
Occupational Health Services utilizes a Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) certified laboratory. Our Medical Review Officer (MRO) reviews mandated tests. Also, non-mandated non-negative test results can be reviewed by the MRO in order to protect both the employer and the employee.
